Identity Model
ScreenCache uses a two-tier identity system:
Account (Private)
Your private identity tied to your email. Manages settings, owns content, has Connections (max 2,000). Never visible to the public.
Avatar (Public)
Public persona(s) with @handles. Publish Posts, build audience, send/receive public messages. Free tier: 3 Avatars. Premium: 10 Avatars.
You are responsible for all activity under your Account and all Avatars it owns. Misrepresentation of identity in ways that deceive other users is prohibited.
Content & Licensing
“User Content” means any image you upload to ScreenCache. The platform accepts images only — no video, audio, or document files. You retain full ownership of your images.
Platform License
You grant ScreenCache a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, transcode (including EXIF removal, format conversion, and thumbnail generation), cache via CDN, and display your content for the purpose of operating the Service.
Safety License
You grant ScreenCache the right to scan, analyze, and classify your content (including private library items and message attachments) via automated systems for malware detection, content moderation, and metadata extraction.
These licenses terminate when you delete your content or account, except for copies previously cached on CDN (which expire per cache policy) and any content required for legal compliance.
Prohibited Content
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) is strictly prohibited. Detection at any confidence level triggers immediate NCMEC reporting (18 U.S.C. § 2258A), account termination, and data preservation for law enforcement.
